Medicinal cannabis by Tidal Health Solutions is now available across Canada.
The New Brunswick-based licensed producer has launched its first medicinal cannabis strains into the market. The company’s medicinal hybrid, CBD, and THC flowers are now available online to registered patients across the country.
“We are very excited to be able to make our products now available to patients across Canada” said Tidal Health Solutions Interim President and CEO Tony Cina.
Tidal’s indoor growing facility applies the “Sea of Green” technique to produce premium grade medical cannabis more efficiently and consistently. The Sea of Green method forces flowering at a young age which results in a much earlier harvest for growers.
Recent land acquisitions in St. Stephen, NB provide the company with opportunities to undertake a variety of growing and processing techniques. In addition to producing dried flower for Canada’s recreational and medicinal markets, Tidal is positioned to fully leverage next-generation cannabis opportunities.
“We are committed to investing in research and development as we look to provide more medical-based cannabis products to patients in 2019 and beyond,” said Cina.
Cannabis has shown significant promise with positive health outcomes for people with a range of medical conditions.
Here’s what Tidal Health has in store for patients:
This hybrid offering has a delicate balance of CBD and THC. The dried flower is very smooth with a fruity aroma and herbal undertones. The combination of CBD and THC makes this product suitable for day-time or night-time usage. Typical range is 7-10 percent CBD and 4-7 percent THC.
A beautiful Sativa-based, CBD rich strain with a light fruity aroma. The high CBD levels make it an excellent choice for those looking for the potential benefits of cannabis without intoxicating effects of THC. Typical range is 13 – 16 percent CBD and 1 percent THC.
With the distinctive earthy tones of myrcene, Tidal THC is an Indica-dominant product known for its relaxing properties. Perfect for night-time usage, this product contains <1 percent CBD and 19 – 22 percent THC.
In launching its medicinal strains, Tidal will work with Cannawellness to educate patients on the use and effects of medical cannabis.
Established in 2016, CannaWellness operates a network of clinics in New Brunswick. Their mission is to give patients, health care practitioners, industry partners, and policymakers the resources required to make informed decisions related to cannabis.
“We believe Tidal Health Solutions has the right focus and are excited to see Tidal Health start offering medical cannabis to patients,” said Caleb Mazurkiewicz Co-CEO CannaWellness.
